Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, together  with Slovakia´s First Lady Silvia Gašparovičová and the Mayor of the city Vysoké Tatry, Ján Mokoš attended the final conference of the project called The Tatras School of Regional Development (24th October 2008 in Starý Smokovec), supported by the European Social Fund (ESF). The final conference was a part of the official program of  Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in Slovakia – the High Tatras. The guests obtained presents from thematic groups of the project. One of them was the publication of  A New Water Paradigm, dealing with innovative solutions towards solving the world problems linked to the issues of water protection, floods, drying and climate change.
